Amid the shock-and-talk of Kathy Hamilton's recent decision to step down as chairwoman of the College of DuPage (COD) board, one thing is certainly clear: This is not the last the world has seen of Katharine Hamilton. Not by a long shot. Elected to the board in April 2013 -- to the applause of many (and to the chagrin of a select few) -- Hamilton spent the next two years of what would have been a six-year term making numerous reforms within the college, reforms that included the firing of then-President Robert Breuder, a change in management at the college's radio station and the shutdown of the campus's restaurant Waterleaf, all of which were involved in various scandals over the years.
